We received a corner sofa on the recommendation of an interior designer, and the task was to completely reupholster, sponge and reinforce the joints.
The furniture was to be used in a modern, minimalist environment where, even though we were in the midst of a complete renovation, its functional elegance was evident. When furnishing any living space, it's important to pay attention to the harmony of colours and shapes, with pieces of furniture that are striking in themselves are better dressed in subdued colours, so that accessories being rather bold, might be more suitable. My client's choice of colours and materials reflected this, and the furniture was made very exciting by the subtle sparkle brought to life by the thin silver threads hidden in the fabric.
